BoxedIN

While shopping in a Costco with my family, it dawned on me that there were very few exits within this massive structure. I suddenly felt very trapped.

In addition to that cornered feeling, I remembered a friend had once lost a child in a Home Depot and they issued a “Code Adam” emergency. It effectively locked all the doors and exits so no one could get in or out (he was found right away, FYI).

I combined the idea into a horror anthology called “BoxedIN”. It follows the lives of the employees and citizens trapped within a big-box megastore called “BuyMo” on the night of a major storm.

During the storm, a deadly virus is unleashed inside the store, igniting a string of events that will leave the characters in mortal danger and boxed in by fate. The narrative revolves around a seventeen-year-old boy named Jenner Gaines, who quickly discovers he is in way over his head when vampires, werewolves, witches, and cannibals collide.
